Joachim: Trained under Serwacqynski, Misha Hauser, Hellmesberger, and Joseph Bohm who is responsible for his of the bow. At twelve he entered the Leipsic Conservatory where Mendelssohn became his accompanist. Mendelssohn's opinion was that Jaochim was beyond the necessity of training in a regular music school, yet he went on to study under Ferdinand David and Moritz Hauptmann, then went on to develope a “Violinschule” of his own.
