Fritz
Kreisler: First taught by his father (one of the leading physicians of Vienna), and even though the Conservatory of Music had a minimum age requirement of fourteen-years-of-age, he won the gold medal there while only ten. He then went on to win the gold medal at the Paris Conservatory at the age of twelve. He toured America, retired for ten years to study music in Vienna, and art in Paris and Rome, then returned to the concert stage with even greater success and fame.
